Update: I reformatted my hard drive, reinstalled Windows XP from the CD, and I still get a blue screen of death every time I try to install my wireless internet card (it's a Linksys USB Wireless-G card). Does anyone have a wireless card I could borrow? Or some other way of figuring out if my computer's broken or if it's just my card?

At this stage, I would have to believe it is either your build of XP or your wireless card. Probably more likely the wireless card. If some other reader has the wireless card to lend you, that'll clear that one up.

Alternately, try the Knoppix suggestion I put in my comment to the last post. If Knoppix can't read your wireless card, it's your wireless card. Otherwise, it's your PC.

I have to assume you've tried the traditional native american wireless dance... or at least sacrificed a pigeon to atone for your internet iniquities. The web gods (Hitmul, Lawls, and the rest) are a proud and jealous lot and must be appeased.
